3 Sep 2016, under the afternoon sun, a workshop of Chinese painting with unique Chinese flavor  was produced by the Uprising Chinese Academy's founder, Dr. Zhou Xu.
The uprising Chinese Academy is the only traditional Chinese Academy in London area until now. When you arrive at the academy and look around, you will find there is a tea table, some bookcases and antique Chinese painting and calligraphy  in Chinese taste which represent the ancient Chinese poem "try hard until you see the rise of the cloud, and that is the start of the rain".  The students all said that it was the first time to see such an original Chinese academy in London.
During  the class, the teacher first introduced the stationary accessories, the common sense of ancient painting and calligraphy and demonstrated the use of brush and ink. In the last one hour of this workshop, the students succeed in the creation of fan painting. It was so excited!
