2 Descriptions for Adult Calligraphy Courses
- Regular script (Kai), official script (Li) or seal script (Zhuan) may be selectable for initial learning program. However, we focus on the regular script. After a certain time of practice, when significant improve is made on brush control, students enter into the intermediate stage, semi-cursive script (Xing) may be introduced, so that students may feel the flow of this script. Feel the calmness in semi-cursive script through regular script, so as to transit from regular script to semi-regular semi-cursive script, afterwards, students may try copying or creating semi-cursive or cursive scripts.
- Trainers will recommend calligraphy styles based on students’ characteristics, while respecting their own taste and preference.

Training on settling down and calming down
Words and expressions: we explain the origin, evolution and meaning of the Chinese characters, to stimulate their interest in learning.
Practice in writing and drawing: we demonstrate in an easy and obvious way for children to practice brush calligraphy, in the hope of developing quality in detail focus, dedication, calmness and persistence.
Etiquette training: for each session, we arrange fine practice, focused on musical instruments, chess, calligraphy and painting, to learn Chinese traditional culture and etiquette in a comprehensive manner.
2 Teaching Mode for Adult Calligraphy Courses
- Step by step: we illustrate the evaluation process and meaning of Chinese characters. Students have hands-on practice in writing and seal carving, to personally experience brush employment and skills, to learn to hide and expose brush tips, and to avoid brush-side, brush –leaning or other harmful habit. Students start with basic lines as vertical, point, cast to left, cast to right, tick and hook. After mastering all the elements, students start to copy complete characters one after another.
- Walk into art gallery: we organize dynamic classes for each session, for field trips to art galleries and museums. We guide and inspire students on how to appreciate, to feel the beauty, and to arouse their interest in calligraphical art.

The content mainly covers and flowers, figures, landscapes and other traditional form of Chinese painting. Initially, we focus on such themes as fruits, vegetables and animals. Explain and demonstrate step by step. Inspire students to get to know the artistic concept in an open and diverse manner.
2 Training Content for Adult Traditional Chinese Painting Courses
The course is for adults over 18 years old. Standardize the posture for brush holding and sitting, and develop correct painting habits. The content mainly covers and flowers, figures, landscapes and other traditional form of Chinese painting. Imitate works of classical painters of Song, Yuan, Ming, Qing Dynasties and modern times, such as plum, orchid, bamboo, chrysanthemum, mountain, rocks, trees, etc. Through copying meticulous style and freehand brushwork, as well as creative training, students will be able to freely use brush, ink, water and paint and grasp production methods, create their own simple works and appreciate classics in the Chinese painting history.

Grasp basic knife skills. Imitate classic ancient seals, such as those in Han, Ming and Qing Dynasties. Students may carve their own names or cut fun seals.
